About Me

I am a psychotherapist and organisational consultant.

I am a psychotherapist and organisational consultant.  I began my career as an engineer and then joined the corporate world as a management consultant soon to realise that what was most missing in that context is an understanding of personal change.  This led me to train as a Gestalt psychotherapist and later trainer on the MSc in Gestalt psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute. I now work both clinically and also with organisations.

As a psychotherapist, my work experience spans a variety of settings from organisational coaching, working with stress, burnout and anxiety to earlier relational traumas and the impact of unexpected life events.  Although Gestalt informs my practice, I am also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and EMDR.

I have special interest in working with systems as well as individuals. I am passionate about the relational elements at all levels and am co-founder of Relational Change, an organisation that works to develop relational skills in individuals, teams, organisations and communities. My doctoral thesis looked at the application of Gestalt theory into organisational settings.

I am adjunct at Ashridge Hult Executive Education and an Ashridge Accredited Coach. I am also a registered member of the UK Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and I adhere to their professional code and ethical guidelines.

All entities in the natural world, including us, are thoroughly relational beings, of great complexity, who are both composed of and nested within contextual networks of dynamic and reciprocal relationships.
